Lawyers Medical Services (LMS) was presented with a file which seemed unrecoverable - the medical evidence had not been obtained with only 3 days to go before it had to be served in court.
LMS were asked to provide a medical report within 2 working days of receiving instructions. After liaising with the expert and client, LMS managed to secure an appointment on the day of instruction, sending the records by special delivery for review by the expert that same evening.
LMS successfully received a copy of the report via email from the expert and the solicitor was able to present the case in court on time and as required.
